The Bamileke king of Cameroon sits on this stool during public pomps. This is the only time the stool is utilized and only by the king. The rosette design constitutes the 'earth spider', 'heteroscodra crassipes'.
The 'earth spider' plays a key role in solving problems that the 'Bamileke village' may 'faced with'. This techniques is named the 'spider prophecy'.
